Gredetin is situated at southwest part of Aleksinac community. It is located on 1.394 ha where the biggest part, 914 ha, goes on wheatfields, orchards on 63 ha, vineyards on 46 ha, fields on 39 ha and dearth on 58 ha.

Gredetin is with over 200 households, whose main activity is agriculture. The village is famous for its ranching, farming and fruit growing.

The years long tradition that made the village of Gredetin famous is strawberry production. Thanks to its natural particularities, located on Mali Jastrebac slopes, as well as climate and soil attributes, there are ideal conditions for growing strawberries.


There is a tradition and skill of the Gredetin villagers in growing the strawberries, since every household, no matter the economic aspect or trends,is in the business for the decades. The main goal is to make brand of the strawberries from Gredetin, specific organic grown, already known as ECO fruit with foreign partners.

Gredetin villagers realized and started with modern trends founding producers Association. The main goal is well known - broadening the strawberry plantation, intensification of the production through new strawberry types and using healthy planting material, as well as using new technologies.
